8 Kings: Why the 7th King Anglo-American National System Must “Fall”
Challenging a Bethel incompletion and myth about the 7th and 8th Kings
For those who have moved forward with the views of national sovereign prophecy first revealed in Daniel 2 as a continuum over time, made known by the IBSA then Jehovah’s witnesses, we see the (1) Egypt, (2) Assyria, (3) Babylon, (4) Medo-Persia, (5) Greece and (6) Roman trek is all now global history. Most of Daniel 2’s progression of those six world powers is now HISTORY, that the prophecy has become in part. (Dan2:31-45) All six kings have ruled fully, and were deposed fully by the next king in the sequence, 1-2-3-4-5-6.
By that benchmark of historic progress of global national power we now have part of the “intelligence that has wisdom” to ascertain where John was in this prophecy:
(Revelation 17:9-11) Here is where the intelligence that has wisdom comes in: The seven heads mean seven mountains, where the woman sits on top. 10 And there are seven kings: five have fallen (1-5), one is (Rome, 6), the other (7th King) has not yet arrived, but when he does arrive he must remain a short while. 11 And the wild beast that was but is not, it is also itself an eighth [king], but springs from the seven, and it goes off into destruction.
Now Daniel’s prophecy benchmarks Babylon clearly in the prophecy, the “head of Gold”. But in Daniel 8:20-21 Medo-Persia and Greece are also referenced by name, so the national progression from (3) Babylon can be made with no question to (4) Medo-Persia and (5) Greece which follow in the progression. (Egypt and Assyria’s previous existence is also known by other means, like Exodus and Isaiah.) Ascertaining (6) Rome’s role in world power development is now prominent in world history and development since the time of Christ. The whole 1-2-3-4-5-6 progression is now very easy to verify historically.
Thus identifying unnamed Rome in the Daniel prophecy progression is now not difficult. And it is also logical Anglo-American national alliance power is the current predominant national based “7th King” world power system that followed the “6th” “King” Rome. Revelation 17 is not ending with merely Roman power as some try to assert in those “seven heads mean seven mountains”, no, the scope is now the global national based empire system of the Anglo-American “7th” “King”; AND that which is to follow in “King” number 8, the last King in the sequence, the “8th” “King”—which is yet to fully complete.
Now, here is a progression so far of seven “kings” of national power systems who have ruled not concurrent, but sequentially, just as shown in the order in the prophecy. They have gone in 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 order; there is no “co-ruling” thus far in the progression, each king of the seven so far is or has been dominant for his own era.
And we have a great detail in the prophecy of John concerning the 7th King:
“when [the 7th King] does arrive he must remain a short while”
Remaining a “short while” does not necessarily mean that king 7 is destroyed, it means his world predominance is for a relatively short period of time. This detail is important, for Bethel teaches a fiction that the 7th King is destroyed at Armageddon as if still dominant at that time. But the sequence completes with the 8th King as shown in the prophecy to be the final dominant king. They cannot both be ruling at the same time.
It is the 8th King, the true final global rulership, that has an even shorter “one hour” reign (Rev17:12), that does end in destruction:
“it is also itself an eighth [king], but springs from the seven, and it goes off into destruction”
That is actually a very interesting distinction; but one Bethel ignores.
The point being the 7th King does not co-rule with the 8th King as Bethel WTBTS is now implying as if the United Nations is that 8th King, it is not, it is the “image”, not the entirety of the 8th King full “scarlet wildbeast” finality yet to come. The other detail is the 7th King will not be the predominant “King” when Armageddon arrives as Bethel now implies in error, it MUST be King 8 that is the last king present, who is destroyed explicitly.
The point is, just as the first 6 kings rule in sequence, 1-2-3-4-5-6, so the 7th king came in that sequence, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7, and must also be SUPERSEDED by the 8th King in that sequence further, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8, continuing that sequence of rulerships in order, sequentially—to COMPLETION. Bethel is bypassing the logic of this historic completion and its certainty.
This means what Bethel is not teaching is the 7th King must be deposed in the process into 8th King full “scarlet wildbeast” world government, and the sequentially required COMPLETION of the WHOLE 8th King meaning, not just the United Nations “image”, must also yet complete fully.
The 7th King is deposed into world government, not yet at Armageddon, and that is how it rules but a “short while” yet is not necessarily destroyed to define that “short while”. It is the 8th King that comes last and that “goes of into destruction” [i]explicitly stated[/i], as that finality of the whole global rulership synonymous to the fall of Daniel 2 “immense image”, the WHOLE image.
Bethel is not summarizing these completions and yet they are simply logical. They are not only logical, they are historic and sequential as simple as 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8. Instead Bethel promotes a slam dunk “it can end any day now brothers!”, when in fact it cannot end until the 8th King fully “arrives” in full completion, and that takes some more doing. The Anglo-American national world power and the UN “image” are NOT the end of the story here.
The 7th King system, like Rome’s was, does remain influential, but the point is the 8th King is the final fully globalized whole authority in this 8 “king” trek to Armageddon, to be deposed fully by the Messianic Kingdom of Christ, and it will contain the full global system of all the national kings by that time. (Rev17:11-13, Rev16:13-16)
Bethel’s current state of apostasy is why they do not clarify the final logic of completion of many things, including the certainty of world government completion beyond, but including, the United Nations “image” in global scope, the 8th King, the last king in that sequence equating to the WHOLE “scarlet wildbeast”. In fact since becoming UN NGO, Bethel conceals all modern United Nations developments since its 3rd United Nations presentation of 1990.
Bethel is severely compromised, and UN aligned and that is no coincidence with their modern retardation of progressive prophecy understanding.
In the meantime the 7th King Anglo-American system must fall (Dan11:42-43 parallel of King South fall) to allow the full 8th King “ascension” in full world government.
